Giorgio Trombetta, President
Being born into a family of coffee roasters, Giorgio Trombetta has spent almost his entire career in the coffee business. He took over a family sized company from his father and turned it into a multi million business with a strong market position in Rome and central Italy. Mr. Trombetta has served as Sao Café President since 1971 and has no retirement plans for the near future.

Antonio Lorusso, Vice President
Antonio Lorusso is a thirty-year veteran of the coffee business who divides his time between his duties as Sao Café chief financial officer and as an active and influential politician. A member of the Italian Chamber of Deputies, Mr. Lorusso joined the permanent commission on industrial activities in July 1988.

Guglielmo Papaleo, Vice President
Guglielmo Papaleo began his adventure as an entrepreneur in 1945 when he managed to set up a roasting coffee business in his hometown. The company was so successful that in 1997 Papaleo was awarded a prestigious acknowledgment by the Italian President Oscar L. Scalfaro, who made him a Cavaliere del Lavoro. Every other year Mr. Papaleo organizes an international roaster meeting in Copanello, a well-known resort in the southmost part of the Italian peninsula.

Marco Pellini, Vice President
Prior to joining Sao Café in 1971, Marco Pellini was involved for several years in the management of Pellini Spa, a roasting business located in the dynamic area of northeastern Italy. Mr. Pellini has a degree in business administration and over twenty years of experience in the coffee industry. Marco Pellini is responsible for all internal operations and product marketing.
